宋佳博士主要从事植被生态学、森林生态学与城市生态环境等方面的教学与科研工作。研究兴趣为树木水力结构和水分关系对其环境适应性的影响机制、树木全球变化响应的生物学机制等。即从树木抗逆生理和生理生态学角度入手,明确气候变化背景下森林生态系统功能形成和稳定维持的机制,探讨树木对人类活动干扰和重要全球变化因素的响应规律及其生物学机制。
