高燕教授的主要研究方向是遥感在土地利用变化,森林退化,生物量评估,以及城市生态中的应用。她发表在SCOPUS和Web of Science收录期刊论文近40篇,指导本科生、以及硕士生和博士生论文。主持过墨西哥国家人文,科学和技术理事会基础科学类项目以及墨西哥国立大学,技术创新支持计划项目。参与过欧盟和墨西哥国家政府支持项目。她是墨西哥国家研究员系统二级研究员 (2022-2026年) ,墨西哥米却肯州的荣誉研究员(2024-2027 年),并因其学术成就被墨西哥国立自治大学授予 “Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz” 荣誉奖。
